Why Use a Blowdown Tank?

Direct discharge of high-temperature blowdown water from the boiler into the sewer is legally prohibited and harmful to the environment. Our blowdown tanks reduce the pressure of discharged water, separate flash steam and cool the water to a safe discharge temperature.
